Happy birthday, Leah!

Happy birthday to Leah, of Spider Felt! Leah makes gorgeous scarves and other felted items. She even offers a "do it yourself" kit for making felted soap, for those who are interested in trying their hand at felting. She has also offered classes in the Seattle area on felting techniques.

Today, we're celebrating two EtsyRain birthdays! Debra of Debra Linker and Karen of Felted Style share today as their birthday!

Debra's shop features her paintings, many of which are so exquisitely detailed that they look like a photograph at first glance. Karen's shop is filled with hand-felted items, like pillows, wall hangings, and rugs. Perhaps it's no coincidence that these ladies share a birthday, as they share a flair for creating wonderful items that you can use to decorate your home!

Shows featuring EtsyRain artisans!

We've got another full weekend of shows featuring EtsyRain artisans this weekend.

You can start things off on Thursday at the Pioneer Square First Thursday Artwalk. As always, Rosalie and Kimberly will have their studio, Stir, open for visitors.

On Saturday, look for Seattle Sundries and CheyLo Creations at the Northgate Festival, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Also on Saturday, look for I Make Cute Stuff (Totes2Go) at the Seattle Tilth's Harvest Fair, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

EtsyRain will have a booth at the Fremont Market this Sunday, September 7th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring items by:

Happy birthday to Jenny of Skybox Human Creations. Jenny makes lovely crocheted and knitted items, and rumor has it that she crochets as fast as I do. :) Her cotton market totes are super cute and practical, but I'm in love with this pair of socks. I can only imagine how soft and comfortable they would be, and I love the sterling silver edging!
